Fanfani srl is a company entirely owned by the Fanfani family active in the shipping business since 1886. We started to work in Livorno acting as Agents for cargo and passenger Vessels and we have represented the major Shipping Companies trading between Mediterranean ports and the rest of the world proposing as always more specialized and personalized network of services offered by the growth of our activity in all main Italian ports.

Through companies operating mainly in international shipping the activity of the Fanfani group covers the entire logistic requirements of all commodities offering direct services as Shipping Agents for cargo, container, bulk , passenger and ro-ro Vessels, international sea and air forwarding, shore handlings, warehousing and distribution, road and rail transportation.

Nowadays Fanfani group also provides services to persons including Ferry tickets for major Italian, Mediterranean and Atlantic connections in addition to services on account of third parties (self-storage). From steam Vessels to post-panamax Ships, from cargo handlings ………to containers, from transport with drawn carts to intermodal services, the tradition of Fanfani group carries today under the managements of Guido and Vincenzo Fanfani.

Giorgio Fanfani, President of Fanfani srl, has been active in shipping business since early fifties and has covered prestigious public appointments such as President of Asamar (Livorno Shipping Agents association), President of Federagenti (Italian Shipping Agents association), vice-President of Fonasba (World >Shipping Agents association), President of the Italian Port Users Committee; at present he is Honorary Consul of Denmark and member of the board of the Bank of Italy (Livorno branch).
